I wrote Freedom and Equality to clarify for teachers and parents what human ethics actually is, how it evolved in western thought and how it applies to real contemporary issues. The book parallels and is designed to directly support the Ethics Workbooks and should be used by the teacher as a background text for personal review and as a source of additional ideas and resources. The conclusions presented in it have resulted from over 30 years of classroom teaching, study and curriculum writing experience which together with the Ethics Workbooks can provide an effective and tested ethics enrichment program. The need for an objective, thinking skills stressing ethics input for our children is important. I hope Freedom and Equality can help.
